G.P.P. was selected as the primary contractor for the haulage and disposal of materials during the construction of the new Southwest Metro Project. This large-scale infrastructure project required the efficient removal of substantial amounts of excavation and construction materials from the site, ensuring that the project could progress smoothly without delays.
Our team was tasked with managing the continuous removal of material as the excavation work proceeded. This involved coordinating a fleet of heavy vehicles to transport materials from the site to our EPA-licensed disposal facility. Given the scale of the project and the urban location, our operations were carefully scheduled to avoid disruption to the surrounding areas and ensure that the construction timeline was adhered to.
Throughout the project, G.P.P. maintained a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility. Over 95% of the materials removed from the Southwest Metro site were processed and recycled at our facility, minimising landfill impact and contributing to a more sustainable construction process.
Since 1986, G.P.P. has been a trusted name in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across New South Wales.
