G.P.P. was engaged as the principal contractor to oversee the complete development of a bus depot shelter in Marrickville, a key infrastructure project supporting the area’s public transport system during scheduled rail maintenance.
The project began with the clearing of the land, which involved the removal of existing vegetation, debris, and any obstructions. G.P.P. utilised our fleet of heavy machinery to efficiently clear the site, preparing it for the next phase of development.
Following the land clearing, we proceeded with precision levelling to ensure the ground was properly graded and stable for the concrete works. This step was essential to creating a durable and even surface, suitable for supporting the heavy vehicles that would regularly use the depot.
G.P.P. then undertook the concreting of the area, including the construction of concrete pavements, bus washing bays, and a refueling area. High-quality concrete was supplied and poured to create a robust surface capable of withstanding the constant wear and tear of bus operations. The concrete work was executed with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a smooth finish that meets the high standards required for transport infrastructure.
In addition to the concrete works, G.P.P. was responsible for the complete office fit-out within the depot. This included the installation of all necessary services, such as plumbing and electrical systems, to ensure the facility was fully functional and ready for use.
Since 1986, G.P.P. has been a trusted name in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across New South Wales.
