Southwest Metro
As part of the Southwest Metro Project, G.P.P. was responsible for the continuous haulage and disposal of excavation materials, ensuring the project remained on schedule. Our sustainable approach resulted in over 95% of materials being recycled, reflecting our dedication to environmental responsibility.
Concrete Slab Replacements
G.P.P. was engaged to renew and resurface a damaged section of Canterbury Road in Lewisham. The project involved the removal of cracked and potholed concrete, followed by the supply and application of high-quality materials to restore the road’s integrity and safety.
Bus Depot Construction
G.P.P. was engaged as the principal contractor to clear, level, and concrete a site in Marrickville for the development of a new bus depot shelter, crucial for housing buses that replace trains during the development of the Southwest Metro Rail Line. The project included the construction of concrete pavements, bus washing bays, a refueling area, and an office fit-out, along with the installation of all necessary services such as plumbing and electrical systems.
Landslide Remediation
G.P.P. responded to a critical landslide that blocked a arterial road, quickly mobilising to excavate and remove debris. Our efficient and safe approach enabled the road to be cleared and reopened swiftly, highlighting our ability to manage emergency situations effectively.
Asbestos Removal
G.P.P. conducted a thorough asbestos removal project at a NSW Government School, ensuring the safety of students and staff. The work was meticulously planned and executed during off-peak hours, demonstrating our commitment to safety, compliance, and minimizing disruption in sensitive environments.
WestConnex – Haberfield G Loop Reinstatement Works
G.P.P. played a key role in the WestConnex Tunnel project, focusing on the renewal of a left turn lane, traffic lights, footpath, and adjacent landscaping. All work was completed during evening hours to minimise traffic disruption, showcasing our ability to execute complex infrastructure tasks efficiently and with minimal public impact.
